I am XXX , biological daughter of Mr. XXX and Mrs. XXX; born on XX/XX/XXXX at XX. Since my childhood, I have always been inclined towards my academic journey/goals. The environments – at my home, especially from my parents – at the school – the circle of friends I surrounded myself to – greatly supported me achieve the better results in my academics. During the course of my studies; from the influence of my parents and mentors at school some sort of amazing trait developed and built with me. As a result, I not only trained my mind for better results but also found myself feel more happy and contained as and when I see people around me feel happy because of my deeds – whether that be the results in my exams; my parents happy and glad for this – offering small amount or a portion of my tiffin to the beggars around my school gates; putting clothes of my elderly grandmother into the washing machine for the cleaning and subsequently drying out in the sun and at most of the cases assisting my colleagues doing their home-works/assignments at school and home. Subsequently, these qualities and obviously academic scores at this stage helped me took a bold decision for the rest of my academic career. I am taking my academics and passion to serve people at different stages of their lives to the next level from the resources; mentorship and world-class education from AUSTRALIA. I am keen on pursuing my higher studies in Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care at XXX college, at XXX (location).
I have completed my Secondary Education Examination, Grade-10 from XXX High Scholl with X.XXGPA in the academic year 2019. Subsequently, I completed the School Leaving Certificate Examination (Grade XI and XII) from one of the renowned academic institutions of XXXX(country) – XXXX School,XXX(location) on XXX(year) with X.XX and X.XXCGPA respectively. As I am aware of the fact that getting the right education would eventually lead to the right destination, I started researching for the best suitable option for my higher degree. Upon my intensive research I chose Australia as my academic hub in pursuing the higher degrees. Australia, at the time is one of the top educational destinations for the students around the globe. The higher number of students flow means the increased activities and interactions and cultural mix. This will all aid to my goals and nature. I prefer not to continue my higher studies in Nepal because the teaching methodologies here are based on theoretical mode and the syllabus are nearly the same and un-updated from ages. Although the class-based theoretical education is excellent here; this is not going to help me to gain the adequate knowledge as Health Program is the ever-updating field of study and even the newest curriculum will become obsolete within just few years, As I want to make myself ready for the international market, I want to get the education of same level and Nepalese colleges would not stand at my desire. After deciding Australia as my next study destination, the first step was to complete the requirements needed to study there as an international student. I then prepared myself for language proficiency test i.e., PTE to meet the requirement(s) to study in Australia. I appeared in the PTE test in which I secured an overall band score of XX(L: XX R: XX S: XX W: XX). After getting the result in hand and meeting all the criteria, I was able to search for the college that meets my requirements. I was firm in my decision about pursuing Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care at XXX College.
I may have considered studying my home country if I had opted for any of the STEM subjects. But as I have chosen an unconventional path of study (in Nepal’s Context) and have always aspired to excel and scale new heights, I have chosen Australia. There are only few colleges that offer qualitative diploma courses foundational to later pursuits at the university level, and even fewer that are reputable (accredited) and accommodate learning in the English language. Furthermore, the field of early childhood education and care.
Going through the course content and the methodology of Teaching I found that the knowledge that I am going to get here would not be sufficient for me to grow in this competitive era. As the University’s theoretical approach, lack of resources for practical knowledge will not help me to grow my career as my expectations. The skills that we learn here severely lack international recognition, especially in my field of study. The limited availability of resources like renowned Hospitals and clinics, modern infrastructure, research facilities and other required facilities will make the degree less competent. Also, the seat capacity is limited within these providers. Also, the intakes are limited i.e., only one in a year. Students have to sit an entrance exam as an admission process for these colleges. Students are losing a year or taking a gap year due to limited seat capacity. Moreover, the university and college approach to the theoretical mode of studying where the student has to sit in the final exam which carries 80% of the theoretical marks and only 20% of practical is what made my mind to seek for another destination (Australia) other than my home country.
This era of science and health demands highly specialized health services to make things happen for the future and for making the day to day life even easier. If we pick any company from the list of richest companies or most valuable companies then there is a very high possibility that this would certainly be a Health-related company.
They were options like Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada. Without a doubt, each of these countries has established its standard for offering high-quality education.
Some of the Canadian universities such as the University of British Columbia, University of Toronto, and McGill University have impressed me. However, I eliminated Canada from my list since I am unable to handle its bitterly cold environment. I was born and raised in Nepal’s comfortable temperate atmosphere. So, enduring temperatures of -40 degrees Celsius throughout the winter is a nightmare for me.
Although the United States of America is a great nation in terms of education, as it is home to some of the world’s most prestigious universities such as Harvard, Duke, and others, I must admit that I have a poor image of this country in my mind after reading a news article about the robbery, murder, racism, and other crime statistics in the USA. Thus, the idea of sojourning in the United States for my studies was not enticing to me.
The United Kingdom could have been my destination, but the exorbitant cost of living prompted me to remove it from my list.
Australia is well known for quality education, is more receptive of international students and students who had studied in Australia have seen vary qualified and successful in their career. Another reasonable factor for choosing Australia is because of its friendly, laid-back nature of the people and the civil culture as well as the high standard of living. It is also widely known that Australian university hold higher ranks worldwide and they have a good range of training provider colleges to choose from Australia has over 22,000 educational courses across 1,100 Institutions, Universities in Australia have also received excellent ratings for teaching quality, research and graduate employment opportunities. Australia offers a wide variety of courses and degrees, so international students can easily find the school and field that are right for them. Students who study in Australia can take advantage of the country’s impressive technology and research resources. As an aspiring student of Community Services, I have to choose a country that will provide the exposure that I was seeking for which I would lack in my home country. Australia has developed a world-class education system and it being at the forefront of new technologies and innovations, is the perfect study destination for medical students.
The balanced environment and opportunities in Australia make it a better foreign study destination over all other options. Another important feature of the country is that it is the third most preferable country in the world for international students behind the UK and USA. Australian universities provide degrees which are internationally reputed and deliver more practical oriented knowledge with industry relevant degrees. Australia also ranked 8th position in the Higher Education System Ranking (https://studyabroad.shiksha.com/ ) so, despite having only 23 million of population, there are more than 250 languages being spoken. This shows the great multicultural diversity that Australia has. Australia being an English-speaking country will make things easy for me as it is my second most used language. The country has a reputation for adopting new technology at a faster rate than in most other countries which is clearly visible in the past few years. Likewise, the Australian government has legally provided post study work (PSW) permits for international students which allow students to gain the professionalism for two years in their relevant field after the completion of course. On the other hand, qualifications from Australian education providers are recognized worldwide.
Based on the data available on the internet site (https://www.studyaustralia.gov.au/) (a recommended website for international students by Australia government) Australian cities are a perfect combination of affordability, quality life and student environment, making the international students one of the best places to come and learn from. Moreover, the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) allows students to easily move through the education system here and provides an easy way for countries around the world to recognize the qualification. Quality Assurance: Australia has led the world in putting in place systems and processes to ensure that international students receive the high-quality education they expect. These measures include: Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act 2000, Tuition Protection Scheme (TPS). ESOS (Education Services for Overseas Students) Framework protects the rights of international students studying in Australia which ensure both domestic and international students gain the same standard of education. There is also a mandatory health insurance scheme called Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for international students. Similarly, one of the beautiful features of Australia besides education is that it provides a harmonious welcome to the international students with a population that is originally from different parts of the world Furthermore, Australian people also have a reputation for being among the friendliest in the world, and Australian cities are safe. The crime rates are considerably low, and racism and terrorism do not exist in Australia. More than this, the quality of lifestyle in Australia is best in the world and living expenses and tuition costs are considerably lower than in the UK and USA. Also, the weather here is somewhat similar to Nepal and weather is something I really consider as I cannot tolerate harsh winters. That is why, Australia is my first choice for upgrading my education.
XXX College is located in one of Sydney’s strongest education, cultural and entertainment precincts, right in the very heart of the city. It is one of the world’s most livable cities. I prefer Sydney because it is recognized internationally for quality education and friendly environment. Sydney offers world class education to a large number of international students from over 50 countries with world renowned landmarks, cafe-filled laneways, film and food festivals, major sporting events, art exhibitions and performing arts productions. And it is the world’s top livable cities in terms of stability, education, health care, culture, environment and it has beautiful landscapes and the climate is similar to Nepal. Moreover, Sydney has a very low crime rate so we can have a very peaceful environment. Likewise, people of Sydney embrace some other cultures like Indian, Japanese, etc. and Indian festivals are much more similar to our Nepalese cultures and festivals. Sydney is the amazing city of Australia where every sort of facilities is available like Quick Transportation, Medicals, Communication, Entertainment places such as parks, bridges, proper accommodation and other supporting centers for international students. Sydney’s coffee, restaurant, and retail scenes are thriving. This means that international students will have plenty of options to work on a part-time basis. Remember to work inside your visa’s limitations and you’ll be OK. Even if you are learning English, many students find work quickly while they are here. Start with jobs where you won’t have to interact with many people, such as cleaning and dishwashing. Then, as you gain confidence, you can serve customers, which will improve your English skills. There are many job prospects in the Early Childhood and Fitness industries for those studying these subjects, and international students are welcome. Also, the living standard of Sydney is among the highest in the world which has always fascinated me and I’ve always wanted to experience it or to be part of it.

Going through the course structure of Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, I am really impressed that I could make a career in this field that would bring a difference in other people’s lives. My decision to do this course stems from my desire to work as a childcare instructor, where I might at least make a difference in their lives. Because of the increased demand and my personal passion in this field, I selected this course for my career. As we all know, today’s schoolchildren are the foundation of tomorrow’s world; I want to be the engineer who creates that foundation. As more mothers enter the workforce, and most children now attend a child care facility on a regular basis, it is critical that young children of all backgrounds have access to high-quality childcare and early education.
This program, in my opinion, will benefit anyone who works in the childcare business in a leadership or management capacity. This course will assist me in acquiring advanced abilities in the field of childhood education theory. This covers information on ways to encourage cognitive, physical, social, language, and communication development. This course will teach you how to create, execute, and evaluate programmers and care routines, as well as how to interact with families to provide appropriate care. My goal is to improve the child care sector, which can assist in training and raising awareness so that we can reduce child mortality and instill positive views in children at a young age, ensuring their future security. I learnt about the necessity of child care and other parts of it by visiting different websites, reading periodicals and journals, and questioning teachers and others with degrees in their professions. Another source of inspiration for me was children’s health-related films. After considering all of this, I decided to pursue an undergraduate degree in early childhood education.
Early childhood education is recommended for the proper development and maintenance of all of these crucial foundations, and recent trends indicate that parents are becoming increasingly aware of this. As on our home Country Nepal progresses in early childhood education and implements policies, the demand for skilled educators and tutors is increasing. There are no early childhood care courses or degrees available in Nepal, and hence there are few certified tutors to teach this course. As a result, I aspire to be an instructor in early childhood education and childcare who holds an Australian degree and has worked in Australia. Quality education is often unavailable to children who live in distant areas or come from low-income families. As a result, my goal is to address the social justice issue. After working as a childhood educator, I will always prefer to work with children who live in rural areas or in poverty.
By obtaining a degree in this subject, I intend to make modest but significant improvements in my country. Because Nepal is sorely lacking in this area, obtaining real-world experience in early childhood care in Australia will be beneficial to me because I will be able to apply what I learn here in Nepal. After completing this program and acquiring expertise in this industry, I plan to return to my home country and help those in need. This course will assist me in pursuing a career as a Child Care Educator by exposing me to a diverse range of career options such as Early Childhood Child Care Coordinator, Early Childhood Teacher, Early Learning Center Manager, Education Advisor and Reviewer, Policy Development Officer, and Curriculum Designer.
My initial salary will be between Nrs 40000 and Nrs 50000 per month, with a definite increase based on my job responsibilities and performance. I can look for work in both private and public organizations such as the Ministry of Education, Montessori Training Centers, Education Institutions, NGOs and INGOs and many others. Working with these organizations will expose me to a global audience and allow me to learn about their working procedures, styles, and creative, one-of-a-kind approaches. This will be beneficial to my personal as well as professional development.
Being able to become a good researcher on childcare and education topics would also be beneficial. At the end of the day, nothing beats seeing a child’s pure smile.
I sincerely desire to see my country change. So, after a few years of experience in comparable fields, I’ll put up as much effort as I can because I believe that if we want to change, we must first change ourselves, and that only one person can truly change the country.
I belong to a country like Nepal bound with social values, norms and beliefs. I also have to fulfill daughter’s responsibilities towards my parents who are always next to me in every situation. I have my family over here and I do have a responsibility towards them. I need to take care of them in their old age. We do have properties and business in Nepal. I also need to take care of them.
I will forever be deeply attached to my family and homeland. After completing my course, my morals won’t let me work abroad leaving my aged parents in my country. Therefore, it’s my moral responsibility to return to my home country and to take care of them. They also have great hope for me. Along with this, my home country still faces the lack of skilled professional manpower in the medical field. My education, experience and expertise gained in Australia will help me contribute towards the development of my nation. Thus, I assure that I would happily return to my home country after the completion of my course, to complete my immense responsibility towards my family and relatives.
As I was born in Nepal, I believe I have got some responsibility to bring change in my own country whether it is small or big change. So, I will be working hard to improve the health services and education system of Nepal. Besides that, the teaching method and material are really outdated in most of the health service providers of Nepal. So, I will try to bring change in the teaching method according to the experience and knowledge which I will gain from Australia. Furthermore, as being a Nepalese citizen, we have our own culture and tradition which is bonded with me. Most importantly, the ionic bond i.e. family bond will not let me to be away from my family. So, I will return back to Nepal and make my career in my own country.
I do not have any immigration history in the past.
I am going to be fully funded and supported through my family and in terms of investment. My family has a strong financial background which can easily support my education abroad in Australia.
Through online research, I understand the terms and conditions to visa subclass 500, which has been recently introduced and has been implemented under the Simplified Student Visa Framework (SSVF) for all international students who wish to study in Australia at a registered education institution.
To sum up my writing, I would like to assure you that I will be dedicated to completing my course within the stipulated time frame. Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care program will undoubtedly serve as a roadmap for me to attain my long-term employment goals. The knowledge and skills I will obtain at university will aid me in overcoming the practical challenges that I will face in my career. I am confident that my curiosity and research skills will enable me to excel in the highly touted program to become a successful professional in my native country in the future. Finally, I am confident that the quality of my course, combined with my abilities and motivation, will enable me to reach my goal. Also, I declare that the information given above is true, genuine and correct to the best of my knowledge. Finally, I expect to get the opportunity to pursue my further studies i.e., Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. I also assure you that I will fully abide by the Australian laws during my stay in Australia. Thus, I declare myself as an eligible candidate for pursuing higher academics in Australia.Yours faithfully,
