Parent visa grants the parents of a child or children living overseas as residents (permanent/temporary) who now would like to move and be with their children. When you apply for a parent visa, you must be sponsored by your child, who must be a citizen or permanent resident of that country.

Visa fees may vary the way you apply for them. If you plan to apply outside the UK to join your child, the fee will be £1,464. But if you are going to apply in the UK, the fee will cost you £993, and if you apply in the UK in person with the premium service, the fee cost is £1,583.
If you wish to take a dependent with you to the UK, you will have to pay an extra £1,464 for each dependent and £993 if you employ in the UK online, and £1,583 if you employ in the UK in person with the premium service.
It’s much easier if the parent is joining a minor who’s legally living in Germany, and the parent possesses the right to care and custody of the child. But, you can’t bring in your parents on a dependent visa, as they are not considered dependent in the real sense of it. German law does not honor the notion that children support their parents in person. The embassy will first require proof that “unavoidable hardship” will be prevented to bring your parents into Germany. For example, you will be required to prove that living conditions are unexceptionally hard for them in Nigeria, showing their medical report if they have severe health conditions.
